Mapfre’s assistance unit provides its services through an extensive network of more than 70,000 providers across the 23 countries where it operates, mainly in Latin America and Europe.
Mawdy is committed to strengthening connections and collaboration with providers to continue raising the quality and excellence of its services.
Mawdy, Mapfre’s assistance unit, recently held its Mawdy Provider’s Day, for the first time simultaneously and in a coordinated manner worldwide. The event was aimed at the company’s most closely connected providers and was held both in person and online, bringing together professionals from the healthcare, home assistance, and roadside assistance sectors.
Mawdy’s operations are supported by a network of more than 70,000 professionals with whom it maintains partnerships. Through these events, Mawdy seeks to strengthen relationships with its providers and recognize their contribution to business development by increasing awareness of the company, facilitating the exchange of experiences, highlighting top-performing providers, strengthening network loyalty, and promoting best practices and competitiveness.
“Assistance is a fundamental pillar of the insurance business because it allows us to make tangible the value proposition we offer our customers. In this context, providers play an essential role for our company: they act as our ambassadors, are the visible face of the service, and support customers when they need us most. Therefore, we are committed to strengthening our connection and collaboration with our providers, convinced that this close relationship will enable us to continue enhancing the quality and excellence of our services”, said Leire Jiménez, CEO de Mawdy.

Throughout Mawdy Provider’s Day, discussions focused on the company’s structure and the strategic role providers play within it, a new operating model that introduces performance-based incentives for professionals, new technologies and tools that can improve management, and sustainability in the assistance sector and at Mapfre.
The providers participating in the event represented the healthcare, home assistance, and roadside assistance sectors, which form the core of Mawdy’s business.
In 2025, Mawdy reported revenues of €474 million. During that year, it handled more than 3.5 million assistance services worldwide. The company employs 2,500 people across the 23 countries where it operates, in addition to its provider network.
Mawdy develops its business model through more than 600 partnerships with corporate partners across sectors such as insurance, financial services, retail, automotive, and tourism, providing services that complement their offerings.
